Cake Mix Holiday Cookies

I love making cookies at the holidays... but what I don't love is the time it makes to usually make a few batches. Time is one of those things that with a toddler running around the house I typically do not have a lot of! That is why I LOVE this recipe! It is super easy, super fast, and super yummy!
Three ingridents is all you need and sprinkles of your choice. The more the merrier!
One box cake mix of your choice (I used devils food for this batch)
2 eggs
1/2 cup of oil

Mix all together in a large bowl. The consistancy will be like that of cookie dough. You want to roll the dough into small balls then roll each ball in sprinkles. I used several different kinds of sprinkles because I thought it made them so pretty! And I tend to go a little crazy with buying different holiday sprinkles too! This year I found candy cane sprinkles that actually taste like peppermint! Those little cookies turned out so good... chocolate and peppermint, what a great combination!
Place the rolled balls on a cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes in a preheated 350* oven. Remove from oven and let sit on cookie sheet for a minute or two, then transfer to a cooling rack. The result is a googy brownie like cookie baked with yummy sprinkles!
Pretty, Simple and great for the holidays!
As always ENJOY!

Easy Holiday snacks

These are the easiest snacks for the holidays! Any holiday in fact, so don't just think Christmas, think Easter, Forth of July, etc... And they take all of oh maybe 5 minutes to make. The "hardest" part is unwrapping the Hershey Kisses! :)

On a baking sheet line up pretzels. You can use any kinds of pretzels you want... round ones are the best, but they are also the hardest to find! I used waffle ones for these.
Unwrap your Hershey Kisses - I used Peppermint ones, and Pumpkin spice ones (which were not as good as I had hoped for) but you can use ANY kind of Hershey Kiss you would like.
Place one Hershey Kiss on top of the pretzel and place in your preheated oven (350*) for no more than 2 minutes. You want the Kiss to look shiny but not MELTED. Remove from oven and push one M & M down into the center of each Kiss.
Let them harden back up
And as always ENJOY!

These make great snacks for around the house at a party, or package some up in a box to give away to friends, family or coworkers this holiday season.
